Occupational Therapist
Founder & Clinical Director of Little Hands

Gabrielle has worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including school districts, in home early intervention and private clinics around the Bay Area. She is experienced in working with children ages 0 to 18 with varied diagnoses (e.g., attention deficit hyperactive disorder, spectrum disorders, pervasive developmental delays, anxiety disorders, selective mutism and social skill challenges). Her treatments have included sensory integration therapy, fine & gross motor coordination intervention, wellness and prevention, family/parent education, school based trainings, handwriting intervention and cognitive behavioral therapy interventions. Gabrielle strongly believes that treatment is most effective when the therapist and child’s school & family work together to formulate therapy goals using the child’s occupations (interests and/or motivators) as a means towards achieving those goals. Gabrielle Perelmuter obtained advanced training from the Selective Mutism Training Institute. She has worked with many children and families who’s lives have been impacted by Selective Mutism. Her clinic runs intensive groups for children with Selective Mutism and individual sessions.
