Dr. Alicia Goodman with Simply Psychology LLC will be starting social skills groups for children and teens who have been diagnosed with SM starting in March, 2019. These groups are intended for youth who require approximately 5-10 minutes of warm up time before communicating with others.
Groups will be separated by age and a short screening process is required. If there is enough interest, parent groups will run simultaneously. Individual and family therapy sessions using PCIT for Selective Mutism are offered on an ongoing basis at this clinic for those who are currently still working on finding their brave voice. Quarterly training for parents, caregivers, and professionals are also offered.
