Meg Glick, LCSW, MSEd is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Park Slope, Brooklyn who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children with ADHD, disruptive behavior disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety disorders, and other challenges impacting emotional and behavioral health. Meg is an internationally-certified Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist, the gold-standard evidence-based intervention for children ages 2-7 with oppositional and defiant behaviors. Meg also has expertise and specialized training in adaptations of PCIT for the treatment of selective mutism and other early childhood anxiety disorders. Meg has a special interest in working with children experiencing anxiety with irritability and significant emotional dysregulation.

Prior to opening her own private practice, Meg was a clinician at the Child Mind Institute in New York City within the ADHD and Behavior Disorders Center as well as the Selective Mutism Service. Meg also previously held roles as a ParentCorps Educator in the Center for Early Childhood Health and Development at NYU Langone School of Medicine and as a Social Worker in the NYU Child Study Center. Meg earned her BA from the University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s degrees in Social Work and Education at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and Bank Street College of Education, respectively. Meg received intensive training in PCIT and the treatment of selective mutism from Dr. Steven Kurtz as an extern at Kurtz Psychology Consulting PC.

Meg is passionate about working alongside the adults in children’s lives to identify the evidence-based interventions best matched to the child and family’s needs. She is committed to a collaborative, strengths-based approach to help each child and family thrive.
