Presenter: Jennifer Brittingham, is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in the assessment and treatment of Selective Mutism. Jennifer has worked with the SMart Center (Selective Mutism, Anxiety, and Related Disorders Center) in Jenkintown, Pa for nearly 2 decades utilizing Dr. Elisa Shipon-Blum’s evidenced based treatment, S-CAT® (Social Communication Anxiety Treatment). In addition to the treatment that she provides to children, adolescents, teens and their families, Jennifer also consults with Intermediate Units, Schools, and professionals across the country to educate and provide guidance using S-CAT® strategies.
In addition to the passion that she has for educating and helping children overcome their SM, Jennifer is also a wife and active mother of 3 amazing children who loves spending time outdoors and being creative.
