Jessica D. Nasser, Ph. D.
Dr. Nasser is a licensed clinical psychologist who works in an outpatient clinic in Dunwoody, GA. Dr. Nasser specializes in the delivery of cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) to treat social anxiety and selective mutism, phobias, panic and agoraphobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), mood disorders, stress and trauma, and eating disorders.
Dr. Nasser provides exposure therapy (in vivo, imaginal, interoceptive, and technology-augmented) for the treatment of selective mutism, social anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, and specific phobias, and exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD. Exposures are conducted both in the office and in real-world settings (e.g., restaurants, homes, schools, etc.) in order to generalize learning and maximize response to treatment. Dr. Nasser uses the latest science and research to ensure she provides effective, evidence-based treatments.
In addition to her role as a clinician, Dr. Nasser also remains active in the academic community. She holds an appointment as Adjunct Assistant Professor at Emory’s Department of Psychology, where she trains medical residents and psychology interns in the delivery of CBT, exposure therapy, and ERP.
