Confident Kids Camp is a 5-day, intensive therapy program designed to help prepare children with Selective Mutism for the upcoming academic year. This year, we are excited to announce our new Confident Teens program which is uniquely designed for adolescents ages 13-15 with Selective Mutism. We will continue to enroll campers ages 4-12 to participate in the program. This camp utilizes one-on-one support and group therapeutic techniques in simulated classroom environments to give campers the opportunity to practice verbal communication skills with other children and adults. Campers also practice brave talking during daily field trips. A robust parent training experience is a key component to Confident Kids Camp. We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield traditional insurance, and some services provided during camp may be eligible for reimbursement from BCBS (currently estimated to be 30%-40% of the total registration fee).
