Dr. Steven Kurtz, a clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience treating children with SM behaviorally, will talk about the whens, whys, hows, how long to consider medication as part of an overall treatment plan. If the goal is to help kids overcome impairing SM and social anxiety, Dr. Kurtz will talk about the many pros and potential cons of medicating along with the potential pros and cons of not medicating children with SM.
