Heather M. Praml, M.Ed., LPC, NCC has over 17 years of experience in the field of education and counselling. She holds her state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor and is also a Nationally Certified Counsellor. She was awarded the title of “Counsellor of the County 2009” for Morris County, NJ by the National School Counsellors’ Association. Ms. Praml will be presenting about her daughter’s struggles with SM and the specific steps–at home and at school–that enabled her to overcome this disorder.
Also, presenting is Tara McClain, MA, LAC . Ms McClain is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey. She practices and teaches mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation strategies to her students to help them learn ways to manage anxiety and daily life stressors.
