Live Webinar with Q&A! Registration is free.
October 23rd – 12-1 pm Eastern
In July, Dr. Shelley Avny presented on the “whys” and “hows” of enhancing treatment motivation and engagement among adolescents with Selective Mutism. Part II will be broken down into several themes, guided by audience questions from Part I. These themes will include: the virtual era (school and therapy), parent involvement (reducing enabling and using supportive techniques), scaffolding and scaling back exposures, medication, and rewards/contingencies.
If you are planning to attend Part II and have a question that does not fall into one of these themes, please email the moderator – Dr. Alison Miller at alison.millerpsyd@gmail.com – by mid-October so we can be sure to include it. There will also be an opportunity at the end of each segment to have several questions answered.
